Notice of an Acceptance Payment

Candidates for admission, or readmission, upon receiving final notice of acceptance from the Office of Admissions, are obliged to forward a payment, to ensure their place at the University, which is credited towards the academic semester’s tuition. For specific details about the amount of payment, the Office of Student Accounts should be contacted. Amount of payment must be made by the date indicated on the candidate’s notification of acceptance.

Tuition and Mandatory Fees

As of Summer Session I, 10 June 2008 it has been and remains the policy of The American University of Athens to withhold all diplomas, degrees, official recognition of work done at AUA from students who have outstanding overdue debts with the University including, but not limited to, amounts owed in satisfaction of tuition, fees and additional charges.

The American University of Athens reserves the right to change tuition rates or fees at its discretion, without any previous notice, whenever it is deemed necessary. Given probable continuation of current economic conditions in Southeastern Europe, as well as the need to continue to accelerate the academic development of AUA, it is reasonable to expect annual tuition and fee increases in the near future. AUA will endeavour, however, to limit these increases to reasonable levels.
