Arts Studies concentrations lead to the Bachelor of Arts degree which requires four years of  study and consists of one hundred and twenty-six (126) semester credit hours. The aim is that students develop solid evaluation and research skills, a confident grasp of theory and a command of a significant body of knowledge which will prepare them for successful graduate or research studies or entry into the professional world.

Department of Art History

The department emphasizes theoretical as well as practical application of content and strongly encourages the development of visual and research skills. The curriculum offers introductory, intermediate and advanced courses to students who are interested in (a) entering a major field of study at AUA, (b) preparing for professional, academic, or museum careers, or (c) supplementing studies in other fields.
