We are well aware that choosing what to study at university is one of the most important decisions you have to make in life.
Graduate programs at AUA are supervised by the Chairman of the School of Graduate Studies, assisted by the Steering Committee consisting of coordinators of the different program areas. The Graduate Program Committee has the entire responsibility of developing, modifying and maintaining the graduate program with the approval of the Senate. This committee consists of the Chairman of the School of Graduate Studies, members of the Steering Committee, faculty teaching at AUA, librarian, provost, career officer, and one student representative from each program. Faculty members participating in graduate programs are listed at the back of this catalog in accordance to academic rank, year of appointment at AUA, degrees and dates received, and the institutions granting the degrees.
Admission to study towards a Master’s degree requires an appropriate Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution and evidence of capacity for productive work in the field selected, such as may be indicated by undergraduate grades.
Students are encouraged to submit an application approximately sixty (60) days prior to the beginning of the semester of enrollment to ensure adequate time for all necessary records to be received and evaluated. The application must be accompanied by the €24.99 application fee (which covers a part of the processing expense and is not refundable).
A copy of secondary school credentials must also be shared with the Admissions Office. The personal statement and recommendation letters are important but non-compulsory. The evaluation of an applicant’s credentials (i.e. a recent copy of your Academic qualifications, academic transcripts or Diplomas) begins as soon as all the application materials have been received by the AUA Office of Admissions.
The application form can be filled out online here. The processing of the signed and completed form by our Office will immediately designate the student as a final applicant to the University For further information and/or questions, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
